Darling Harbour and the city of Sydney:

Once a busy harbour and industrial region, the Darling Harbour precinct was redeveloped in 1988 with shops, restaurants, bars, museums and entertainment. Many Sydney cruises leave from Darling Harbour, and the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre fronts its waters.  This is to be your congress venue, allowing you access direct from the doorstep to the varied sites, sounds, tastes and experiences of Sydney, Australia.

Explore:  Sydney is known for its harbour lifestyle, fantastic beaches and good weather - all contributing to a relaxed environment that permeates the city and its visitors.  Waterfront precincts of The Rocks, Cockle Bay, Bondi and Coogee Beaches, and the Northern Beaches name just a few to be explored.

Whether experiencing the culure of the Museum for Contemporary Art , the Art Gallery of NSW, or taking in the sights of the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge and Sydney Opera House, the Sydney visitor will never tire of the sights on offer.

Dine:  Sydney's restaurant scene reflects the city's cultural diversity, with inspiration from the finest Asian, European and Middle Eastern cuisines, combined with the freshest Australian ingredients, to create a gourmet paradise.  Just a stone's throw from the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre take a wander through China Town and lose yourself amongst the plethora of Asian eateries to chose from. Or you may chose to indulge in a world class dining experience on Circular Quay.

Shop:  Shopping opportunities are abundant and include a mixture of shopping complexes, boutique stores and colourful markets, many of which are located along the foreshores of Sydney's famous beaches and harbour areas.  Make your way through the busy centre of Sydney or visit the famous Paddington Markets  in search of a clothing bargain or original handmade jewellery.

Beyond Sydney:

Maximise your visit:  New South Wales has so much to offer.  Just a few hours from Sydney you can experience the wineries of Hunter Valley, the golden beaches of the central coast, surf beaches, restaurants and galleries in Newcastle and spectacular ranges and home to Bathurst - the Blue Mountains, names only a few.
